Exceltec Auto Services Ltd. first opened its doors in Markham in March of 2006. The team includes owner Doug Lamb, along with Mike and Ian, with administrative support from Doug’s daughter, Danielle. Doug is a Class A inter-provincial licensed automotive technician since 1974, bringing over 50 years of experience across a wide range of makes, models, and years of vehicles. Before starting his own shop, Doug spent over two decades at large GM dealerships and also held service and management roles at a European fine car dealership. His extensive expertise has led him to work with insurance companies on appraisals and investigations, as well as assist local police departments, legal counsel, and other automotive professionals with expert advice. He has even provided technical guidance for GM commercials aired on Hockey Night in Canada and was featured in promotional materials for the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
